may those in the USA who are experiencing loss and suffering through natural and human-caused disaster, be it from flooding, fire, drought, or anything else, find ease and comfort! may our people and our leaders respond quickly, wisely, and compassionately!
may our leaders in government resolve any impasses that they experience in their debates, put aside party partisanship, and act for the best of all the country! may this happen swiftly and with wisdom and compassion before parts of the country sorely affected by the consequences of a shutdown have to feel the effects! may our leaders remember those in country who need the programs that might be cut! may they keep in mind those who live in poverty and need and act on their behalf, rather than put the needs of corporations before people!
