Ummmm....I clicked on the 2009 photos in the link and it showed me young kiddos running around and a big ole sign saying alcohol is not allowed in or out. Is there an adult version and a kid's version or did it have a massive overhaul between 2009 and now?
I'm just curious, as I don't have the breasts to pull off the painted look, but I wouldn't mind going just to see what folks wear.

I'm sure alcohol isn't allowed in and out because they want you to buy from the vendors there. THere are plenty of kids, but there are somethings some people may not want their kids exposed to. Like half-naked people and the reek of pot smoke. But it's an open, friendly gathering of austin folks and there's nothing like it. I'm pretty sure the kiddos have access to face paint and other diversions. Parking is the biggest bitch - I'll probably park elsewhere and ride the bus in. My stamina will depend on the heat/weather. it seems like kind of a free and friendly gathering of people in full celebration mode. One guy groped my (clothed) boob there, so that wasn't cool. There are drum circles, dancing, general silliness, costumes, music, a few people selling their wears, food concessions ( if I remember right), etc. You also run into people you'd never expect. It's random.
I myself will not be wearing paint as a shirt or paisties as a shirt - but there will be plenty who do one or the other. Oh, and I'm not sure what the deodorant per person ratio is either. I grew up in Austin, so I'm used to that hippie smell.
