My primary client's daughter cancelled overnights yesterday.

She's going private caretaker

It all comes down to money...

She's afraid he's going to run out of it in a couple years and then his children will have to help support him..

The woman who is replacing me showed up glassy eyed and nodding out..
Oxcotten is my guess..

I spent 40 mins going over the care and handling of a 92 yr old Parkensen Patient with a UTI and dementia.

She fell asleep standing up twice...

She thought she was just going to show up and then go to bed. She was a little suprised to hear that it was a little more invoved than that and she wasn't going to get a good 8 hours of sleep...

I'm a little scared for him... She had no idea that he fell, that his feet/legs don't work the way he wants them too and that she might have to pick him up off the floor.

I left her my phone number and told her to call if she couldn't get him back up..... I think I should have told her to call the daughter...
