Good Morning scoote and Jo,
Nods.. I can understand that scoot.. your work ethic will remain.. however, given your back injury .. how you maintain that work ethic is going to change alot. I went through the same thing. You will learn to adjust though.. as hard as that might be. It will be harder though, as you said when you have employees do not already tow the line like they should. When they see you in a roll that is different.. (because of the injury).. they are going to try to take advantage of that (some may).. you will need to just learn ways of dealing with it . . and let them know regardless of your injury.. your work ethic and what you expect of them has not changed. Moreso, you will be asking them to step up more because you are not going to be able to do alot of the physical things you used to do. It would be good just to have a sit down meeting with them... and explain the whole scenario.. and hope for the best.
It could definately be a worker's comp thing when it comes to the ortho. I am also with you.. given I went through it.. it is the neuro that is going to serve you best. I disc going like that is neurological not orthopedic. You may have to do some serious advocating for yourself with whoever you deal with at the worker's comp office.. because if they take you down that path it is going to end up doing you more harm than good.. when it comes to healing from your injury. The spine is just nothing to be playing with.
Always, keeping you in My meditations. I hope you get some good news today. Let Me know what happens.
Thank you Jo for the kind words. He was a wonderful guy. I have known him since I was in My 20's. I had not seen him in recently.. as I do not go to the clubs now. The last time I saw him was for Pride a couple of years ago. Just a shame really.. they still have no motive for why the kid did it.
Well, I hope you are both having a peaceful day.. thinking of you both.. always.. good luck again scoot.. let Me know how it goes.
Waves to Ms. Snow, Zimmy, Tommi, violane.. and anyone else I missed.
Leaves some.. and
Have a good Thursday everyone.
As Always,
Jake

Zimmy...glad to hear the first day went well and the people are nice. That makes such a big difference! Eye boogers indeed geesh!
I was working on a tight deadline last night, and ended up working until about 6:30....something I always try to avoid. It worked out well though, and the project I was working to finish will help our field team a lot...so it's all good. I confess I did fall asleep on the couch though...poor Scoote....I'm sure I'm not great company in the evening since I'm almost always tired by then.
Lots to do today too...so I better get to it. Snow...don't worry...we won't tell weatherboi if you grab a danish instead of an apple!
Have a great day everyone! ...and to my sweetie....
