Default Eurovision 2011

Wondered what people's thoughts were on the winners this year. I was kind of disappointed this year. A lot of the songs lacked energy, imo, as did the song that won. I don't know, in past years there were always some really fun songs and was looking forward to that and didn't get it. The ones that were more energetic didn't seem to place high this year.

Ell & Nikki - Running Scared (Azerbaijani contestants)

Meh.

My favourite was Kati Wolf - What About My Dreams (Hungarian contestant)

I also thought Amaury Vassili - Saugny (French contestant) was great, too.

I also really liked Loukas Giorkas' Watch My Dance (Greek contestant) as well, but the two rap bits were really horrible. He should have not had that Stereo Mike guy join him (who made the song sound like a Weird Al parody or something, imo) and stuck to singing in Greek.

Was disappointed in German and Ukrainian contestants. The Ukraine especially usually has really awesome musicians in Eurovision, but this year was pretty mediocre.
