Good morning everyone
Coffee is on, and breakfast is ready for you to help yourselves..
I've got the dishwasher running, laundry washing, and will be heading to BJs so I can restock for the velociraptors as soon as I manage to get motivated and dressed.
The boys are officially in their last week of school....tests today and tomorrow, then 3 short days. For Rooster it's all fun stuff since he's graduating from 8th grade and moving up to high school...picnic, graduation ceremony, senior dance...good stuff. I know they're both more than ready to get started on the fun of summer vacation.
Talked to my mother again yesterday...feeling good, got out of bed for the first time since the surgery, and (joy of joys) they took out the nose tube...which is the thing that bothers her the most. This feels absolutely like a repeat of 7 years ago....very scary, big mess, major surgery....and then a good recovery and back to her old self. Rooster is more than relieved...I can tell it was scaring him more than he was letting on, since he and my mother are very close.
