im rebuilding/refurbishing a 94 chevy ex cab stepside. with the big 454ss.. it wound up in the lake when the guy backed his boat in the truck followed it... im thinking he forgot to put it in park.(maybe a lil mucho beer?) then it sat and dry rotted most the bushings and gaskets. but it only has 50,000 miles on it.. so.. its taking some time but cleaning up great!

Sweeetttttt! on da truck. Yea, he sure did forget to put in park...BUT his stupidity is your just reward when ya finish it. 454ss.....pretty powerful engine there, boss!!! Yea water does have a way of rusting out brake lines, gas lines, etc. You can always tell a vehicle that was used to load and unload a boat....lay down, look underneath carriage...rust is present on it......brake lines alone to replace are expensive!!!! Anyway, hope ya making pictures of before/during/after and post them!!!
