WC laws are pretty *etched in stone* in Pa. (where I live and work, for example) if you accept WC assistance while you are out injured, you esentially give up your right to sue. However, if you are not feeling better with in 90 days, you can get out from under the WC Dr's and go to one of your own. But, by doing this, WC reserves the right to send you to an Independant Medical Exam.....It is usually viewed as a cold exam, very little interaction, as the exam is *neutral* and the WC review board reviews the findings. If you stir the pot too much, your employers insurance company (usually a TPM) third party management, will have you followed. And filmed
