Morning Dixie:
I would gladly take some of the rains here. We have had dense smoke fog for the last 3 weeks with rain only once during that time. Check out www.news4jax.com to see some images of this smoke fog. Planes have onkly a mile visibility...scary eh? We are slated for some rain this Friday..and none too soon. There are 157 fires in and around Jax and more on the Ga/Fl line.....in the afternoon with the heat and low ceiling is the worst for the smoke fog....my eyes are shot....I go out long enough to potty my dog. Folks wander around with paper masks on...it has particulates in the air...so folks are cautionary. Anyway have a great day! Donna
