Welcome Homo Honey Trixie! Well you DO know you are supposed to chew bubble gum AND hold your mouth just right, right? COULD be you didn't do either...lol...in which case...no fishes on hooks...lol.
A lil diddy I was taught:
Winds from the East, fishing is the least! Winds from the West, fishing is the best!
Also either go early morning OR late evening...fish tend to go way deep during hot of the day...<wink> hope this helps future endeavors! Clay
