You can buy cedar planks at the supermarket, then soak them for 30 minutes, and then grill right on them, very easy. I only use each cedar plank once.
I've also made scallops this way, and they were sweet and delicious.

Scallops are a great choice for someone who doesn't like "fishy" seafood. I can't get good scallops in markets here. I spoil myself when I visit places much closer to the ocean.
