i stopped smoking over ten years ago after having smoked for over twenty something years. i know how freaking hard it is to do. i applaud everyone of you here trying to stop! it's the best thing you'll ever do and you can't even begin to know how good you will feel afterwards. i used the patch and worked that system exactly as directed and i also used a lot of online support groups. [like this!] for me, having somewhere to go to so i could whine, bitch or brag about my quit days, was extremely helpful. oh, and that quit meter was very cool to use. i think this is it:
