ever stumble upon someone whose entire being IS music? I don't know how I have missed this man but lawd knows the girl will be uploading a lot of new stuff onto my mp3 this weekend...hope someone out there enjoys his gift as much as I do...

This was one of his later performances in 2000. He was 77 then. His career spanned 1945 through his last album release, Timeless, in 2004. He died in 2005. I am just in awe. Thanks for allowing my moment of indulgence.
