Joy oh joy! My joy? Having the IT Tech guy come fix my home computer yesterday. I had no Internet and my computer was freezing.
Turns out I had saved so many episodes of True Blood on my TiVo desktop- I had virtually no hard drive space left. He cleaned 'em out, deleted all kinds of stuff I didn't need (AOL?); found I Had dropped my camera one too many times & was actually broken; defragged it; got rid of some suspicious malware-looking things, etc. And got it humming again!
Great joy: he said I don't need a new computer- I am just seriously short of ram. I can't add Skype or anything else until I get ram but he showed me what to buy and he will install it for me! Ram is much cheaper than a new computer
Best of all, he spent over 2-hours on it and only charged me $75.00! The Geek
Squad would have charged me $129 just to show up.
Now I don't have to use my IPhone as my primary computer anymore! I put IT women and men up there with physicians! I am in awe of what they can do. They have a secret language that I know next to zero about and am so glad that they can do whatever it is that they do!
Happy Saturday all
