Default Shadows of Love - Anne Taylor

I heard you call my name, I saw your smiling face.
When I turned around I couldn't find you.
Where did you go? Why did you leave?
For I do so miss all our bliss.

We were as one, with promises to never leave.
Standing tall and proud, we're now crumbling down.

You smiled down at me, letting me know
You're still around. Watching over me,
Sometimes with a frown.

Sometimes I still hear the whisper of your voice.
Or was it the wind, just whistling my name.
I turned around to see, the shadow of your frame.
Or was that just the tree we planted for you and me.

I knew you're still here guiding me.
No matter how far I travel, wherever I roam.
You'll always be beside me to love and guide me.
Till I find my way back home.
