In my lexicon a numpty is a fool/idiot/twit/a reet knob/someone being contentious for the sake of it just to wind someone else up (as was happening earlier hence the numpty post)
I also came across several motorized vehicle driver numpties today who thought it was perfectly alright to pull out of junctions whilst I'm level with said junction and thereby almost knocking me off my bike. Thank goodness I have better powers of observation than they do and quick reactions!
