If someone drives by my house and honks their horn, I will stop what I am doing to wave at the mysterious driver even though they cannot see me. It's a force of habit.
I do not like sweet iced tea, which is near blasphemous being here in the south.
Someone cut in front of me in line at the dollar store today and I was shocked. It was the first non-nice and discourteous behavior that I have seen since I moved here two weeks ago. I stood there in shock for an indeterminate amount of time.
This accent is trying to weasel it's way into my Upper Midwesterner ways.
I am trying to decide between a foodsaver, bread machine, a indoor grill and a Bose iPhone docking station to listen to my tunes. I'll probably break down and get the foodsaver first. Baby doesn't like freezerburn.
