Happy first day of September!!!

I'm officially renaming this "no bad luck" month. I've had a bunch of crappy luck and last night was no exception. I was lucky enough to get my car towed because the spot I put it in apparently changes to "no parking" after a certain time of night, which I was not aware of.

If any of you have ever seen that show Parking Wars, you will understand what I went through. Unfortunately I had to clean out my checking and savings accounts as it cost me $470 to get my car out of the impound lot. Now I have two shiny, brand new tickets in the amount of $130 I have yet to pay, and $12 to last me until the 9th.

So I am determined, this will be the month where I don't have any terrible luck, and I make it through unscathed. I started off by finding a giant jar of peanut butter and two kinds of jelly in the pantry this morning so I can make all kinds of sandwiches for lunch. This is a promising start.
