Today is my first day on NutriSystem, it was a gift which Iam grateful for because I couldn't of afforded it. Back in 2008 I was a size 11-12 looked great, felt great, had more energy. After my Mother passed in 2008 I went into a depression since then I have come to terms and accepted the things I cannot change. But gaining an extra 50 lbs is something I can change and I will try my damness to follow this wonderful gift I have received from my family member. What's interesting is learning what foods go with what and of course PORTION control. I'm a diabetic and I'm following their program. One of the tips is u choose either a dairy or protein with breakfast n lunch . Which means you don't do both. Now example: 2oz cereal sugar free, 8oz skim milk, is your breakfast so you add another dairy or protein , addition 4 oz skim milk oe 1oz of protein like low fat cottage or greek plain yogurt/tuna/2oz protein chicken breast... just wanted to share a few tips.
