Well, I can post a youtube video but I can't view it (thanks to work blocks), and Jack already listed my favorite one, so I'll just say that I love dance.
I love dance like someone who has had dance in their family for generations and has danced before they could walk, even though I can't do much more than a bit of social dancing. It's in my blood though. I feel the music in my veins; its healing and inspirational powers. It's what kept me alive and sane during some seriously rough patches in my life.
I absolutely adore shows like SYTYCD and RJ's ABDC, that promote not only dance but the DANCERS....the fire that stirs in them...the joy that comes from them when they dance. They have some of the world's best choreographers working those shows and it's not uncommon for me to say, "Whaa?" and replay certain moves and holds, blocks, and hooks over and over.
If I could be anyone....anything....in this world, I'd be a professional dancer. Unfortunately, genetics aren't on my side, but what happens in the confines of my bedroom and living room isn't up for debate, right?
What happens at home stays at home.
