My kidneys are only working about 24% they have diped down as far as 14 % and at 10% they will not substane life. I need a trans plant. The funny part is every budy seems to think you have to be dead in order to be a doner,but you don't. Only has to have same blood typ I have. I don't know my typ yet. I have a lot of testing to be done,to see if my heart and lungs will take the surgery. Also,if I have a live doner,that might be a plus when,it comes to my health Ins to pay for it. If not then,I can't have the surgery. I have emailed Kidney foundasion and they tell me to email this othere place,I do and they tell me to email this place. I hate getting the run around when it comes to my life.

Blueeyes, I'm so sorry about your kidney. I'd happily donate one of mine if I could. Is there anyway that someone long distance can get checked to see if they are a match? I'll be keeping you in my prayers and thoughts (((blueeyes)))
