I have so very much to be thankful for, I should really stop grumbling and take time to smell the roses, for there are so many of them in my garden of life:

1. For the love and enduring support of my sometimes very dysfunctional family.
2. For the love and support of good friends.
3. For my steady and secure job in a profession which I truly love. My employer, the U.S. Government, is still standing by me, as a Disabled Veteran, and allows me a lot of leeway and perks that I know I wouldn't get in the private sector. It has allowed me to keep working and to put back into a system that has given me so much.
4. For nearly always having more than enough.
5. For the love and companionship of my little gang of frogs (Myra, Ivan and Tootsie).
6. For the gorgeous new truck I was able to so easily buy.
7. For the love and support of this community. It is, indeed, a second family!!
8. For the upcoming 3.6% COLA in my disability pension. THAT will surely be welcomed!!!
