Last year for Halloween, my ex roommate and I bought several bags of candy to hand out. My problem is that if there is any form of candy in my house, I have to eat it...I will admit this. We ended up having six kids show up<I had two teenage boys come back around for a second trip>. I told them to open up their bags and I dumped the whole bowl into their bags...The kids couldn't believe it..but I didn't want that in my house any longer..
If I do want something sweet, I bought the breakfast cookies from Quaker cereal and I leave those at work to snack on...

i work til 7pm Halloween night, so i will come home and lock up, lights out..
to feel better about my decision, i decided i will buy a few halloweeny snacks and bag them up and tie them closed asap, and my daughter will bring them to school to hand out to her friends as a Halloweeny gift from her..That way, it's not sitting around the house tempting me..
no candy or potato chips in this house either.. i just can't!
