I dropped her off at the vet where she got her rabies shot. They wouldn't tell me much about the owner, but they had an address in Moody (17 miles away). I left my phone number in case they are unable to reach her owners.

Her name is Mia.

Dogs are easy to fall for. I hope she has a good home and they will be happy to get her back.

Just look at that pretty face! And she sighs just like a person.

Hopefully tomorrow morning I can track down her owner - and hopefully there's a real good reason she's so skinny and why she was tied up, because I'm not so sure she has been taken care of properly at all. :/ I can see all her ribs - is that normal for a german shepherd? I always think animals are too skinny - not sure how to tell what too skinny really is. She's definitely part German Shepherd, but her body isn't like that. Even though I see all her ribs, she doesn't have that deep chest/wasp waste/tucked pelvis thing - and she's a bit smaller. But she seems young - like maybe a year or less? But she's already had puppies.
