I am shooting for a year and hoping that it doesn't take two years, like it did for one of my coworkers. This isn't my idea and I am wishing that I didn't have to get them; but thanks to genetics, I have to...My dentist was telling me, that since I don't smoke, drink soda or anything else, that my teeth are very healthy and it shouldn't take long for them to heal once this happens...I have a very good pain tolerance and I will be taking Aleve to help with the soreness...
My roommate is excited about me not drinking coffee anymore, he will have the whole bag of coffee to himself...
Have a good day,

Zimmeh....
I have a few friends that have braces, and they didn't have ANY problems at all eating solid foods. I guess each person is different... but we will hope you are one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to suffer with liquid/soft food diet!
