It was "Random Act of Kindness Day" at school (as one astute student pointed out, how random can it be when it is a designated day for this!). Anyway, there were numerous post-it notes on lockers, on the phones, in the hallways with comments ranging from you are beautiful, you are amazing, you are worthy etc.
When I went to the caf to get a coffee, someone had already paid for it, and I saw a student buying two cookies, so I got it for her, which made her day. (Most of our students don't have a lot of extra spending money).
It was really nice to see (esp. considering when I saw the first one, I presumed it was something foul about someone or something...guess I am a bit cynical!).
