It's amazing how our systems change once we stop eating the bad stuff...
The last two weeks were challenging since I've been in hotels and restaurants so much. I tried to stick with oatmeal, fruit and yogurt for breakfast...and passed on as much of the carbs as I could manage....tried to stick with protein and lots of veggies. It worked....I didn't gain anything at the very least.
The hardest was dinner out with my boss and counterpart...at an awesome Mexican restaurant. I passed on the chips and salsa and all the appetizers, and ordered a salad with black beans, corn, red cabbage, pumpkin seeds and other things I don't recall. It was yummy....but the cheese enchiladas and tamales were still calling my name.
I did weaken and have a margarita though.
