It really is fascinating how some things affect us and others do not.
I drink one diet coke a day with my lunch. I do not crave it and it satisfies me. Real sugar for me, turns a switch on in my brain that craves, craves- more sugar.
We all have our triggers we must avoid, don't we?!
Breakfast is my new best friend: spinach, egg white omlette and today, with 2 small slices of avocado and tomatoes. Prep work done-takes about 3 minutes.
Lunch is my homemade Cioppino with shrimp, salmon and cod-yum. Have not decided on dinner yet. Maybe sauté fresh veggies in a little olive oil.
Still walking, still "stairing" twice per day.
Sigh of relief that I have control again.
