All OSes have at some point or another gotten a virus, been "hacked" (I hate that term -- it's more accurate to say compromised or attacked since some "hackers", of the traditional white-hat variant, actually look to fix systems), or <insert attack vector here>.
The only way to truly ensure a secure system is to take away the biggest cause of compromise: the human being operating it.
