thank you all for the warm wishes. i am overwhelmed by the outpouring of hope and support from friends i've made on this site and from complete strangers.

today i am lighting a candle again for my ma and all her wonderful caregivers, family and friends. the operation went smoothly and she's in recovery. we are now waiting for biopsy results... again. which will take another two weeks. the prognosis is good, the doctor's think they got all of it... here's to hoping they're right.
