Where were you born? McLendon Hospital, Atlanta, GA. It was a segregated hospital that is no longer open.

What is your greatest fear? Dying alone.

What is your earliest memory? Sitting under the ironing board while my mom did the ironing and surprising her by reading "Green Eggs and Ham" all by myself. I was 3.

What is your most embarrassing moment? A two way tie between the time I tripped, fell, and landed at Simon LeBon's feet, and the time I tripped and fell off the stage during a radio remote at a night club just before RuPaul was supposed to go on stage.

What would your super power be? Empathy.

What do you most dislike about your appearance? The way other people react to it.

What would your fancy dress costume of choice be? Hm. I've never done fancy dress, so I don't know. Maybe a pepper shaker, if I could find the right salt to go along with me.

What's the worst job you've ever done? Food service during a convention. Never again.

What has been your biggest disappointment? That I did everything I'm supposed to do - didn't get pregnant, finished college, got a master's degree, stayed out of jail - but I'm still struggling financially.

When did you last cry and why? A few minutes ago when I opened the tax bill from the Canada Revenue Agency.

What is the closest you've come to death? I don't think I ever have.

How would you like to be remembered? As someone who was kind, empathetic, and cared for others.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you? The cheaters always win.
