My "official" birthday party is tomorrow.
Yes, there was a small party on my birthday, but no cake, just cup cakes, therefore it didn't reall count, as told to my by the person who had the cup cakes.

A dear friend brought me over a GIGANTIC bouquet of flowers with a cup cake, but still told, "Not your official birthday."

Then there was the 2 day extravaganza last weekend with a friend from the next province over, who was born 6 days after me. Her hubby took her and I out to the two most expensive restaraunts I have ever been to. I indulged of course, drank superb wine, and enjoyed myself. There was a HUGE cake for her with family and friends, roses for us both, but no cake for me...because my party was planned for the end~ish of the month.

My planned party is for tomorrow, because there are 3 of us born in February, 3rd, 26th and 28th.
Tomorrow, more friends will be in town, and then I will finally get my cake.

I have never had a birthday that stretched the better part of a month, but holy cow, I am ready for it to be over. I have been deliciously spoiled right rotten, and I feel hung over from all the attention!

I'm so looking forward to one last big dinner, a last bottle of wine, birthday prezzies and finally CAKE!!!!!

Then life can get back to normal, simple meals and visits just to visit!

Life is bliss~
