There is an indie yarn dyer (desert vista dyeworks)
who runs a design a color way contest each month (on a knitting site)

so in Feb she announces the winners for march etc

well I have won several times but my march idea just came out today as a winner (6 days after the winners where anounced) cause she had to make it look nice!
My idea The Ides of March (Brutus stabbed Ceasar on this day)
sooo... white (for togas) grays/steel/silver colors (for the blade) and red blood splatters on the white for the blood

in a self striping yarn.
As a winner I get a free skein!
