Apparently my mini meltdown last weekend worked. This morning I was a pound lower.

I've always been an advocate of calorie cycling. For me that means I range between 1000 and 1500 calories - going up and down. The theory is the body doesn't "get used" to a set caloric intact and thus doesn't slow down metabolism.

Well.

This time around what I had to do was eat to maintenance (ok, a hundred or so above) for a couple of days in a row and it seems to have triggered the metabolism again.

I just wig out when I eat to maintenance - I feel I'm going to gain weight or go backwards - or lose momentum.. etc etc.

But yeah - how I lost weight before - is not how my body wants to lose weight this time around. Adaptation to the theories is in progress...
