Porridge (jumbo oats) made with water, salt, black pepper and butter.
I have a cupboard of hot sauces that I put on everything from toast to mac and cheese. Different sauces complement different foods. Tabasco goes with eggs, although not as well as magyar izek which I can't find anywhere. Bajun hot sauce is particularly good with black pudding and a touch of Jamaican scotch bonnet sauce good in pea and ham soup.
