Hey Jo,

I do eat a lot of protein. Usually it's I'm Greek Yogurt, peanut butter or whole nuts and chicken. I eat a lot of broccoli, carrots, corn, beans and potatoes. After my initial weight loss, my stomach shrunk and i can no longer eat regular sized portions. Another issue is that I work a very wild schedule. I'm trying to keep what I am eating healthy.

Thanks for the info and have a good night,

Zimmeh

When you say you are eating small portions
the questions you have to ask yourself are:
1. Am I eating enough protein in those smaller portions.
Most diets recommend 3 - 6 oz protein for a lunch and dinner meal.
2. Are you eating enough fruits and veggies?
Many fruits and veggies have enough natural sugars/carbs to sustain you
through those "hunger pains".
3. Are you eating on schedule - or when you feel hungry?
The American Diabetic Association recommends at least
4 meals a day - at regular intervals. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner.
A piece of fruit (apple, orange, 6-9 large strawberries, half
a grapefruit) are excellent sources of both vitamins and
enough natural sugars to get you through the afternoon.

And then there is exercise to release natural endorphins,
but that's another story in and of itself....

Have a great hump day, y'all.....
