I was on pinksofa..it kept matching me with my *insert non-complimentary word* ex, and I did not like the 'feel' of the site.
Alas I am not single, very much far from it.. I just wanted to post some encouragement. I was not looking when I found my partner. Far from it, as was she, and we had our up's and down's and baggage to work through - but if it feels right to you, stick with it. It's too easy to give up, but that doesn't make it right.
I feel the need to emphasize: communicate! You aren't a mind reader nor are they, and passive-aggressive is not always the best way to do things (though goddess knows I do it). If you can't speak about it, write it out. Leave it for them when you're not around if you need to express it without looking at them. But no matter what, communicate. Don't hold it in. It makes relationships a lot smoother, and you have a better idea of what you are getting into
This goes for friendship as well, of course.
