I SOOOOOOOO hope he does win. He moves well and his jockey lets him lead. Which always give a horse a leg up over those whose jockey's try to force the issue. I would love to see a triple crown. LOVE IT!!!!
When it comes to the Triple Crown races I am a complete racing junkie. When I was in high school I worked for a place called Chicago Equine Clinic (now out of business, the vet retired) and they specialized in race horses both thorough and standardbreds. I could not get enough of being out at the track. We have 3 here, 2 harness and 1 thoroughbred (Arlington Park).

When I got to college my first major was Agriculture with a specialization in Dairy Science and a minor in Equine Studies. That was about the time Farm Aid first came out. Most of the kids I was going to class with were farm born. They wanted to know what the heck a city kid wanted with a dairy farm.

*Sigh....most of their families were in the process of losing their farms. I caved and switched to psychology (pffffftt). If I had known that my degree was simply going to become a gateway to a better job and nothing more I'd have stuck with cows and horses and been very happy. Anyway, I never lost my love for racing. This is one of my favorite times of year.
