Not surprisingly the Yankees have the largest payroll in baseball.....followed by (surprise!) the Phillies. My personal opinion is that athletes in all sports should be salary capped to at least something in this stratosphere. It's ludicrous to me that a clown like Alex Rodriguez can make $179M over 10 years and firefighters, soldiers, and teachers barely make enough money to put food on their table. I suppose that could be a whole 'nother thread and it can be argued that nobody is paying $120 to wear a paramedic jersey.
