The motor for the top is weak and needs to be replaced (another $1500). Perhaps the most annoying and least expensive is the hydraulic arm that hold the trunk cover up. The slightest breeze and down it comes. It has caught me in the head about 3 times now and Andi once in the shoulder. They have the arms over at Auto Zone for about $20 each. I don't have a good excuse, I just haven't had time. I work 2 full time jobs now you know? I'm tired when I get home.

That sounds quite annoying. I am very lucky that my top hasn't had to be replaced yet, even though it is the original top (10 years old). I am not looking forward to the few thousand dollars for a new one in the future. The aftermarkets are fine, but the windows are sewn in, so if you need a new window, you're screwed.
I can put my top back manually (if needed), and with it being a small car I can do it right from my seat. Is manual even an option for you?
