I took the mega dose of Vit D as well. You know to take it with Calcium for better absorption. My Dr recommends 1200 mg of Calcium and 600 i/u's of Vitamin D a day for female bodied peeps over the age of 50. I've read a couple of articles on how they believe that Vit D also is huge in fighting off the flu and other icky virus's.
