I FINALLY went for happy hour with people from work....it was actually planned by one of the female engineers in order to get together with all the women on our floor. I went so I could try to make some friends in a more laid back atmosphere, and I am so glad I went!! Oh, to be around a bunch of enginerds (I mean that term in a very VERY positive way!!) was fabulous!!

We laughed and talked about the office and how things are going in each department, and what we do with our free time. They are all readers....whereas I mentioned I love to build things and tinker in my garage.

It was cool to finally make some friends that I will see in the office every day...and we will meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

I am still smiling!
