For Island Scout, Melody Gardot is brilliant! I'm currently in *love* with her new album it is a journey of music composed on a trip to Portugal, northern Africa and Brazil with the intention of connecting the dots between those cultures and arts. It is called "The Absense" and is the best album I've bought in a long time.
