Injections worked for my Mom for about 18 months, by then the quality of he life had deteroriated rapidly, and she was no longer the active person, she had always been. Surgery for her discs was no longer an option, but a necessity. She went with the X-stops which makes the fusion procedure seem barbaric; she was up and walking the day after her surgery, and for the first time, she was pain free without drugs, in a long time. She is very active, once again, and almost everyday, expresses her gratitude toward a doctor and a procedure which gave her, the life she enjoys, back.
