in the last 2 months i have stepped up my workouts...

riding my bicycle about 40 miles a week

running up to 12 miles weekly

sprinting/speed/agility workouts one day a week for one hour

weight training 2xs a week

need more?? well... am considering adding swimming to my athletic schedule
