When I was on campus I wasn't an official TA but I did work side by side with several professors and instructors. I used Prof/Dr and for instructors it was Mr., Mrs., etc... until they would say otherwise... and usually they did but I think it was mostly because of me being a non-traditional, middle-aged student. I'm guessing...

Where I work now we are all on a first name basis.... It's an adolescent homeless shelter and we act like family there half the time anyway.
