JD do you think it's at all like the comfort people with autism feel, when they are snugly enclosed? I'm thinking of Temple Grandon, as she tells it, when she was a kid, she found it comforting to lie under the couch cushions and have her mom sit on them. And then she developed that chute for cows who are walking down ramps in a slaughterhouse, the chutes have cushions on them and "hug" the cows, alleviating their fear and making their meat more tender because it isn't shot with adrenaline at the last minute. (!)
