We have pink skies this morning - the pearly gray clouds are ensconced in shades of reds, pinks and oranges at the sun crests over Mt. Hood. It's very chilly here; we had showers of rain again last night. There are weather reports, since two days ago, that foretell of expected snow showers to come over the coming week and weekend ahead in the Cascade Mountain range and in parts of the Rockies.
Right now, it's about 41 degrees outside.
High today: lower 70s (?)
(I turned the heat on this morning for a few minutes to take the chill off the air... I even stood outside on my patio deck and could see my breath in the chilly morning air)
ETA: my neighbors across the street are cold too! They've got a fire going in their fireplace and smoke is wafting toward the early morning sky.... It makes my heart smile in the morning to see that bit of loveliness.
