I remember my cousin Dawn and me had gone to see
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud at the drive-in.
She was crazy about Michael Sarazzin.

That was about the time Mandy would have been on the radio
on our way to a late night breakfast after the show.
I'd give anything to do that with her again.
Dawn died of lupus and other complications in 2000.
She was my best friend.
