I just turned 30 a couple of months ago, so I guess I post here now?

I fully expected turning 30 to be this horrible awful thing, especially after my relationship ended when I was 29, but so far it's been OK. I had a ball on my birthday, have made a really good friend that I've become really close to (like, we forget we haven't been married for 10 years close), and met a few new acquaintances. Hopefully it just gets better from here.
